the missing miracle.

Fall Book Study
Anne Dingwell will facilitate a Book Study group this fall. The group will
study various books of interest about old and new philosophies, historical
people in the Bible, biographies, or books that challenge us to new ways
of thinking and discerning. The options are endless. Anne encourages humour,
discussion and sharing, with respect for individual opinions. This fall we
will begin with books and film on Jesus’ mother Mary, and Mary Magdalene.
All suggestions for a new book to study will be considered by the group.
Start: Date to be determined. The Book Study group will meet Wednesday evening
7:00 to 8:30 pm in the Church Lounge.

"Soul Circle" Creative Circle...
Matthew Fox describes creativity as "the place where the divine and human meet". Many people are beginning to explore creativity as an expression of our human experience of the world and of the divine. This group would offer a supportive community for participants to explore and deepen their relationship to themselves, others, and spirit through the creative process. Following an open studio format, participants would choose their own individual projects, providing their own materials to work with. There would be an opportunity to connect with others and share our reflections, our struggles and revelations, on our creative spiritual journeys.
No experience is required; this circle is open to anyone at any level of creative experience who is interested in exploring creativity in community with a spiritual connection.
Start: September 18. Meet every second Friday, 1:30 to 3:30 at the church
